Life Ready Plan Keyring
A little reminder for the moments when it’s hardest to remember what to do.
When we become anxious, overwhelmed or panicked, it’s easy to slip back into old reactions — even when we know better.
The Life Ready Plan Keyring gives you a quick visual prompt to help you pause, follow the steps you’ve practised, and move from panic towards peace. You get one when you enrol on the Life-Ready Program, or you can buy yours below.
Keep one on your keys, and give the others to family or friends who may find it helpful too.
Follow and listen when you're distressed.
When we become distressed, anxious, angry or overwhelmed, it can be difficult to remember the very skills we’ve learned to help ourselves. This short recording is designed to talk you through things when you notice yourself beginning to lapse.
Listen to it as soon as you notice the signs that you’re moving from “OK” to “not OK.” It will help remind you to pause, calm your body, think more clearly and work through what is happening, so that you can respond rather than react, and begin moving from panic towards peace.
The more you practise The Plan (as taught in the Life-Ready Program) when you are calm, the easier it becomes to use when you really need it.
Bookmark this page — because when we’re distressed, remembering what to do is often the hardest part.
If you are in genuine immediate danger or a life-or-death situation, get yourself to safety and seek appropriate emergency help first.
