Personal Power and Pride Program

Inspiration:
From my private practice experience and conversations with colleagues, I have devised a plan which is the basis of this program. This light hearted program helps you to identify reoccurring negative patterns of behaviour, as a result of anxiety & stress e.g. from work / abusive relationships, resulting in feelings of overwhelm & powerlessness. The program gives you the tools to combat these successfully.


What is it?
It is an online program (over Zoom) which, using a wide variety of tried and tested, respected Psychotherapy techniques, will help you learn, and guide you on how to take control of your life, from the comfort of your own home. It is certified by the CPD Certification Service, so you can be assured it is of industry standard.


How?
By learning about & understanding the physiological & psychological processes of anxiety / stress, you can learn to control it. With your determination, and the knowledge this course gives you, you can get your power back. If others who have been on the course can, then so can you. It is based on the 3 pillars of:

1. Understanding
2. Awareness
3. Control


Who is it for?
It is designed for people who wish to learn techniques to cope better with life’s challenges and the people within it. You are welcome to actively participate, or stay anonymous within sessions. N.B. These are not counselling sessions.


Course prerequisites – attendees must:
* Come with an open mind, and a willingness to learn and implement new skills
* Be willing to work HARD on themselves to make change happen
* Be determined to do something different, so you can feel more in control, more confident and proud of yourself.


Course details:
It is a friendly and supportive 6 week online course - 1 x 2 hour session per week.
Max 6 people / course.


Course structure:
• 1st hour of the session – Information / training – looking at psychological & physiological aspects of anxiety, stress & coping mechanisms. Presented in jargon free English. After the session, you will have lifetime access to online course content, including videos, audio & handouts, to consolidate your learning, at your pace.

• 2nd hour of the session – Coaching / Q & A – this is optional, but everyone is encouraged to attend. The purpose is to help with learning / guide you through any difficulties / problem solving, & to discuss the ongoing practical applications of the information given.


For the price of a weekend away, this is a personal investment where you will be supported to develop a more empowered outlook on life, increasing your assertiveness & confidence in your own ability to deal with life’s difficulties (feelings, situations and people).
